Information stored on your device
The extension stores its settings, a random installation identifier, videos you report, and cached filtering data.
Information sent to the service
When you report a video, the extension sends the YouTube video ID and random installation identifier to the AI Remover service. The identifier is converted to a one-way keyed hash before storage. The service stores the video ID, hashed identifier, report time, and review decision.
How information is used
This information is used to prevent duplicate reports, operate the review queue, and distribute the confirmed-video list.
YouTube requests
The extension requests YouTube pages directly from YouTube to read YouTube's own AI-content disclosures.
Retention
Reports and review decisions are retained while needed to operate the shared filtering list. Removing the extension deletes information stored by the extension from that browser.
